Rosenthal Loft has replaced the older, popular "Trend" design, although they will inter-match. Loft is sold by piece at a 20% Off discount. A place setting usually entails 5 pieces. is a Norwegian porcelain dinnerware company. The "Farmer's Rose" pattern is the signature pattern (dating back to the mid 19th century) for many Scandinavians.

Portmeirion
dinnerware has been a favorite American dinnerware for over half a century. It is from England. The consistently popular motifs are botanically accurate flowers and herbs in "Botanic Garden"; and the realistic fruits found in "Pomona." There are six designs in each respective group - it seems like one design changes per year. All share the same shapes and same cost per piece. Another group, "Holly and Ivy" has the same enduring popularity as the others but with a very Bristish Isles flavor.
