The "Ultima Thule" group is by Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala 1968. Named from the notion of a frozen unknown north edge of the world, it is a bench mark of creative design that gave Finland a leadership position in contemporary glass art.

Fortessa/Schott Titanium drinkware
Nearly unbreakable, bright, dishwasher safe, fine German drinkware. Three stem styles - "Pure", a contemporary, crisp design; "Classic", a traditional favorite; and "Congresso", a shorter stem traditional design. All are available in goblet/redwine and white wine sizes. Two barware styles: "Keepers" a stack style; and "10 degrees" a leaning style. Both available in HB's, DOF's and shot/cordials. "Pure" has matching DOF's and HB's. All are in Titanium crystal. Prices range from $7.75 to $15. An outstanding value for this German crystal!
