Classic items from Norway, Ireland and England.
Although our emphasis is on fine woolens in Scandinavian and British Isles traditions, we feature fall apparel in season - also look at our better footwear (see footwear). We would like to call attention to fine brands that actually make product in the U.S.A.
The first is "Tianello" whose shirt/jacket made from "Tencel" easily crosses the line from casual to workplace year-around. Basic stock is the "Aida" - a straight line shirt/jacket (shown) in either a smooth, very soft fabric, or a grape leaf, light texture fabric. Both are tencil. Both have a 3/4 sleeve. Black is the most popular. Other colors are stocked or ordered in season. A basic pant is also stocked;

"Alps", a modestly priced knitwear line for year-around use. An old American manufacturer from Maine who still makes great cottons - shown is "Nadia', a sweater design we carried some thirty years ago. Several new styles and colorways are on the floor for fall.

The major part of the line is 'daily use', modestly priced, better quality casual sportswear. You will like it.
For Fall and Winter you will find a nice range of "better" sweaters and outerwear from Icelandic (both fashion sweaters and Scandinavian themed accessories), a new line from Neve, Nordic Traders, Parkhurst, and "good value" Karen Hart.

Cut-Loose for fall/winter has a good long jacket for $65; a shorter, shirt jacket for $76; a stripped top (shown) for $61; a dark (purple) light sweater top $54; a skirt in the same dark color way, $54.

Two knit capes reflecting Scandinavian design tradition from Estonia are a welcome addition to our outerwear group. $214

Continental style boiled wool jackets from Venario of Germany are a new addition. Three styles in red, gray, or black, surprisingly only $150. Lined.
A great selection of better sweaters are now in!
